- Incumbents take the EQS/EQ-NP.
- Using your success measures, incumbents are divided into two or more groups.
- Using regression analysis, J-PMC determines which dimension(s) and/or questions explain and predict success among the high performing incumbents (as compared to the mid and lower performers).
- After analysis, the EQS/EQ-NP is programmed so an applicant’s score expresses their potential to be successful as defined by high performing incumbents.
- To ensure validity, periodic testing of the instrument on incumbents hired with the EQS/EQ-NP is required.
