How performance potential is calculated using the EQS/EQ-NP
 
 
 
  1. Incumbents take the EQS/EQ-NP.
  2. Using your success measures, incumbents are divided into two or more groups.
  3. Using regression analysis, J-PMC determines which dimension(s) and/or questions explain and predict success among the high performing incumbents (as compared to the mid and lower performers).
  4. After analysis, the EQS/EQ-NP is programmed so an applicant’s score expresses their potential to be successful as defined by high performing incumbents.
  5. To ensure validity, periodic testing of the instrument on incumbents hired with the EQS/EQ-NP is required.
